Waste Caps – GL45 Threads

GL45 waste caps fit all bottles or canisters with GL45 thread To comply with waste handling regulations and prevent evaporation of volatile compounds. They have three ports with 1/4-28 thread for 1/8" or 1/16" OD tubing and a fourth port with 10M x 1 thread for a barbed adapter or 1/2-20 thread for 1/4" tubing.

GL45 caps seal the bottle/canister with an O-ring behind a PTFE lip, so the O-ring is therefore not a wetted part.

A bottom-sealing barbed adapter to connect 4, 6, or 8 mm ID tubing can be ordered separately.

Unused ports should be closed with plugs.

• 1 cap, GL45 thread
• 1 O-ring
• 1 set: 1/16" nut/ferrule/color-sleeve adapter
• 2 sets: 1/8" nut/ferrule/color-sleeve adapter

Caps with 1/2-20 thread add:

• 1 1/2-20 plug
• 1 1/2-20 nut for 1/4" tubing
• 1 1/2-20 collapsible ferrule for 1/4" tubing

NOTE: One port must be reserved for the Safety Exhaust Filters or the Safety Air Inlet Valves.
